City Blues Connection founded June 1979 in Hamburg, members that time Norbert Egger, Jürgen "J.J." Surrey, Werner Willms, Andreas Bachmann and Rainer "Macke" Brinkmann. The Band released four full albums until 1985, the last one with Louisiana Red. Recordings 2005 in Switzerland and 2013 in Mallorca. Some tracks of these recording sessions have been published on sampler BGD ROCK CITY Vol. 1 in 2015. Afterwards from time to time activities and 2015 restarted Norbert Egger this project as a Blues big band. a smaller side project is since 1982 also Natural Blues.
