Mexican cumbia, ranchera group formed in 1979 in Monterrey and led by Federico Estevan "El Pollo", active in the 1980s/1990s -- in 1985 the singer Emilio Reyna left to form a spin off "Grupo Pegasso de Emilio Reyna" (called Grupo Pega Pega from the mid 1990s for copyright reasons), while the initial band became also known as Grupo Pegasso del Pollo Estevan, using the slogan "El Imitado Mas Nunca Igualado"
