Raulzito E Os Panteras was a Brazilian rock band from the 60's that included among its members the future singer and composer Raul Seixas. The other members were Carlos Eládio, Mariano Lanat and Carleba.
The recordings of the album occurred at the end of the year of 1967 and its launching, at the beginning of 1968 by the record company EMI-Odeon. Raul Seixas, still known only by Raulzito, signs eight of the 12 songs on the album. Disc sales were considered low, which resulted in the end of the group.
Before arriving at a studio in Rio de Janeiro to record their first album, Raulzito E Os Panteras (then Raulzito & The Panters) accompanied almost all Young Guard artists like Roberto Carlos and Jerry Adriani. And it was Jerry Adriani who invited them to try their luck in Rio. Then they recorded the LP: Raulzito E Os Panteras, Raul Seixas' first album, and the only one recorded with The Panthers.

It was a somewhat romantic album, its cover and its music visibly influenced by The Beatles, with romantic strings, psychedelic tones and a daring version of "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds"("Você Ainda Pode Sonhar"). The tracks "Me Deixa Em Paz", "Trem 103" and "O Dorminhoco", however, are closer to the style that characterized the later releases of Raul.
