Often mistaken for being an Italian band, Oxido are in fact a predominantly Swiss outfit. The Italian connection comes courtesy of their guitarist Tank Palmer (real name Tancredi Palamara), who has also spent time with another Swiss band FORSALE, which features Gotthard vocalist Steve Lee (5). The early lineup of Oxido also featured Steve De Biasi (guitars) and Max Zack (drums), but this duo would depart before the recording of their only album "Breaking Down The Walls". They would later rejoin John Luke and Pat Reilly in the band GUNSHY.
