Mexican, songwriter, founder, accordionist, vocalist of the group Los Rancheritos Del Topo Chico. Catarino Leos Rodríguez was born on November 26 in Tula, Tamaulipas, Mexico. The same year that his group was founded (1956), Catarino Leos began composing with the bolero Amorcito de mi vida. Catarino Leos has a repertoire of more than 700 songs written for the genres bolero, corrido, cumbia, huapango, polka, ranchera and redova, among other songs recorded by renowned interpreters.
