Band founded in 1997 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Frédéric Pellerin . The group has undergone numerous member changes since then, as well as a gradual shift in sonic emphasis.
Madcaps has evolved a lot over the years, starting kinda bluesy, but it is now more funk-rock.
Members are : Frédéric Pellerin (lead vocal-guitar), René de Montigny (saxophone, piano), Marie-Anne Arseneault (bass) et Jonathan Gagné (drums, percussions).
