DJ Project is a Romanian trance music group, made up of Gino Manzotti (Handke Giuseppe) and DJ Maxx (Ovidiu Florea).The group was formed in 2000 in Timişoara, with their first album, Experience, released in 2001.
For fist album the voice of DJ Project was Claudia Pavel and Giulia Anghelescu.
From 2003 to 2010 Elena Baltagan was the lead singer. She left the band to go solo.
In 2011 Giulia Anghelescu rejoined with DJ Project, but in december 2011 left the band to become mother.
From december 2011, Adela Popescu became the DJ Project voice.

At the MTV Europe Music Awards 2006, DJ Project were awarded with "Best Romanian Act" prize.
In 2006 and 2007 the group has received the award for the best dance group at the MTV Romania Awards.
