Ángel Sampedro Montero, Angelillo, was a Spanish flamenco and copla singer and actor (Madrid (Vallecas), January 12, 1908 - Buenos Aires, Argentina, November 24, 1973).
A fierce defender of the Republic, in 1936, at the beginning of the Spanish Civil War, he emigrated to Argentina and did not return to Spain until 1959. In the following years and until his death he continued to perform in musical shows in both countries.
