Maria Komarova, performed in the genre of gypsy and Russian romance, mezzo-soprano. Years of life are unknown.
Gained fame in the wake of the revival of interest in Russian folk urban songs and ballads in Russia at the beginning of the 20th century. In the 1910s, she actively recorded on gramophone records, but later recordings - from the period of exile - have not survived.
It is noted that Komarova in many ways tried to imitate the great N.V. Plevitskaya / Надежда Плевицкая.
