SHOTGUN BABIES Shotgun Babies were born in 2007. They’re Christine IX (vocals and guitars), Jehanne Greco (bass) and Luca Greco (drums).
During their performances they highlight groove, vocal impact, eclecticism, their sound takes its form from a grunge background and it evolves in psychedelic alternative shapes, sweet, but full of rage, with dark obsessive atmospheres.
They proudly play their own songs and they've collected more than 150 gigs and festivals all around Italy, performing also with important italian and international underground bands and artists: Tides From Nebula, Giorgio Canali & Rossofuoco, L'Enfance Rouge, Assalti Frontali, Aldo Tagliapietra (Le Orme), Il Santo Niente.
While recording their second album, “Private Games”, they decided to ask Lydia Lunch for a collaboration. She was invited to listen to the song called “Burn my name” and she was really inspired, she had a urge to write. So she wrote her lyrics and sang her own words with an astonishing voice .
