Real name: Sven Johan Erik Piribauer

Swedish artist and songwriter, born 1963, from Arvidsjaur.

His music can be called a cross between whistle pop, pop and prog. The music is melodic with folk music influences and the lyrics, which are in Swedish, are often about life up in Lapland. A lot of social criticism permeates many of the songs. Johan Piribauer began his career in the punk avant-garde band CP Borrmaskinen in the 1980s. CP Borrmaskinen, with members from Arvidsjaur and Stockholm, made themselves known for their wild stage shows.
