Real name: Celma Ribas Mendes de Carvalho

Angolan singer and songwriter, born November 10th, 1982 in Luanda, Angola.

Born in Angola, Celma emigrated to Cologne, Germany with her family at a young age, where she began her singing career. In 2008 Celma participated in the German version of Idols called “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” making it to the semi-finals of the competition, signing with Sêmba shortly thereafter. Performing a mix of genres of kizomba, semba, R&B and ghetto zouk, Celma released her debut album “Energia” in Angola in 2010.

Her sophomore release “Fantástico” was released in Portugal in 2011, which featured the single 'Commando'. This song was featured as the title music of the reality show, Big Brother Africa. Her third album “Controle” was released in 2015.

On December 29th, 2012, Celma married Adler João in Luanda. Together they have a son, João Rafael, who was born on July 9th, 2014.
