Brazilian Horror punk, horror metal, and deathrock band.
Walpurgis were formed in August 2009, in the city of Piedade, SP, by Paul Rikky Talbot (Low vocals) War Holocaust (Drums) and Érico "Jack" Freitas (Guitars). Their aim was to start a band that mixed old school metal with punk, black metal and classic rock, citing influences such as Samhain, Celtic Frost, Metallica, Venom, Misfits, Motörhead, Black Sabbath, Danzig, and Darkthrone among others. Their lyrics are inspired by the occult, movies and horror tales. In June 2010, they released their first demo CD "Now, Undead", with 13 self-written tracks.
