Vincente Minnelli, born Lester Anthony Minnelli (Chicago, February 28, 1903 - Beverly Hills, July 25, 1986), was an American director, son of a Italian father and France-Canadian mother, initially a costume designer and stage designer; second husband of Judy Garland with whom she had her daughter Liza Minnelli.
