MartyriuM is a Trash Metal band from Chile, Antofagasta.
Formed on 2003, the band counts with:

Rodrigo "Ro Albert" Vera on Bass and Vocals
Javier Silva on Guitars
César Marcoleta on Guitars
Nelson Jerez on Drums

Some old members were
Francisco Palacios on Drums
Luis Valladares on Guitars

MartyriuM waited till 2005, to have a solid formation, composse and practicing. On 2005 they played their first massive show, being the oppening act of the argentinian band Social Shit. The second big show would be with the brazillian band Andralls, a band who previously where the openning act to Exodus and Judas Priest.
They didnt got the chance to record music until 2006, "The Worst Sound Ever" with two covers and the original song, "Age of Destruction" (later included on Violent Showcase and the 2013 album, Twisted Fate).

Martyrium began to gain followers by "El Festival de Bandas de Rock (II Región)" on 2006, even though they didnt qualify to the semifinals, the critics and receivement were positive. They were doing a lot of interviews on television, Q&A and the reception on social media was positive.

On the year 2008, they self-released the 4 track album, "Violent Showcase" with songs like "Age of Destruction", "Fucking Dictator" and "You Are Nothing"
Martyrium signed with Australis Records, a little after 2012, after realeasing their demo, "Chaos Awaits"
They realeased their first album with Australis on the year 2013, Twisted Fate
Six years later, they realeased Children Scream for Mercy (2019)
