Neosis

After several musical events that took place on the international music scene, Greg (guitar, samples), Lee (bass guitar) and Tom (vocals) formed the Neosis project. Soon they were joined by Anthony (drums), who brought the missing elements to the band.

Neosis is an acronym that literally means "A New Evolution of Society Under The Influence of Scientism." This is a conceptual vision of a futuristic, scientifically organized community. A community in which scientific methods take the place of social sciences and humanities, and replace philosophy in order to solve ethical and moral issues. This civilization holds the key to all the ills that humanity suffers from, regardless of their nature - whether they are economic, political or social.

The music of Neosis is designed to carry something new, therefore it must be futuristic. It can be characterized as an alloy of polyrhythmic metal and electronic atmosphere. Everything ends with a rich palette consisting of screaming and pure vocals, in which emotionality and unique inner energy merge.

The extremely conceptual ideas that arise from this title inspire both for composing instrumental compositions and for writing lyrics. Nevertheless, the topics covered are very diverse, and the diversity of participants and musical influences contributes to the overall work.

In 2012, the first full-length album was released under the collective name of the same name on the label SV-ME (Sonic Vision-Musical Entertainment). "Neosis", "Sworn enemy", "Chimera", "Mnemic", "Obscene". Neosis also took part in the Technik-Fest festival, which took place from July 11 to 15 in 2013, and performed with the bands SybreeD, heterogeneous structure, Skyharbour.

The band's first music video, "Involuntary Fate", taken from the first album Neosis, was released in 2013. Mastering was handled by Jens Bogren, who worked on mixing and mastering albums by bands such as Opeth, Katatonia, Soilwork, Daylight is Dying.

Almost at the end of 2013, Neosis released an updated version of the 2010 single titled "Involuntary Fate".
