Out of the Fire was Tom Byars' band that started in Los Angeles in 1983 until 1989 when the band regrouped in Spartanburg, SC until 1996. While in Los Angeles. They self-released an LP in 1983.Tom met Tim Shea and started a new Out of the Fire with the addition of Andrew Moon on drums, playing older Out of the Fire songs as well as new composition.
