Dino Falconi

Dino Falconi (September 18, 1902 Livorno, Tuscany, Italy - February 17, 1990 Milan, Lombardy, Italy) was an Italian writer and director.

In the twenties he began his activity as a journalist, dealing mainly with chronicles of the show on Il Popolo d'Italia. At that time he started working as a screenwriter often together with Oreste Biancoli with whom, for several years, he wrote a large amount of texts, not only for theater but also for cinema and radio.

His subjects and screenplays were mainly related to light theater and variety. The scripts written by him were interpreted by Anna Magnani, Totò, Vittorio De Sica and Macario. He also wrote the lyrics for some EIAR and later RAI radio shows.
