Avon Gillespie
Avon Gillespie was an American music educator who was a Professor of Music at North Texas State University, and formerly taught at the Orff Institute in Salzburg, Austria. Gillespie displayed a remarkably clear vision of the Orff Schulwerk Approach. His untimely death prevented him from contributing more to the North American body of Orff Schulwerk literature.
