American recording engineer, producer, drummer and keyboard player based in New York. Initially associated with Terry Cashman, Tommy West and their Cashwest Productions outfit, Stevens has been active from the 1970s on; he is best known for his work with Yoko Ono but has also worked with Herbie Hancock, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Death Cab For Cutie and The Last Poets, among others. He is also a former NYC radio host.
