German thrash metal guitarist born 24th February 1966.

Played guitar since about 13 years old inspired by hard rock bands like AC/DC, which he experienced at a concert in Essen, Germany in December 1980.

Played with Sodom since 1987 and switched to Kreator in 1989, because he had wanted to start his own band already before he joined Sodom, but Kreator was in need of a guitarist at that time. He played with them and participated on the albums they released 1990 to 1995 until he left Kreator in 1997, and has since been involved in various music projects, for example his band Mystic. He rejoined Sodom in January 2018.
