Spanish singer based in Brazil. Monserrat was born in the Canary Islands and her musical initiation was lyrical, she developed a remarkable soprano record. That seemed to be her destiny when she set foot on Brazilian soil, in 1999. In 2003 she had recorded her first album entitled Añoranza, with walks through the bossa, jazz, tango, samba and flamenco.
