Real name: Davide Valecchi

Italian poly-instrumentalist and poet/writer active since the early '90s. His musical activities cover a wide range of genres and styles, including metal, noise, industrial, gothic rock, new wave, ambient, electronica and experimental. Mainly active with his alias "aal" (later extended to the full name "almost automatic landscapes") as a solo electronic act, and as guitarist/composer for post-punk band Video Diva.
