After a chance encounter in the middle of the mall in Florence, KY, the Cincinnati-based space ripper trio Bummers Eve was born. “Mad” Mike Cipollone and “Sic” Vic Valentino had recently settled a nasty Street Fighter II battle at the Tilt Arcade, and happened upon Northern Kentucky Celebrity Backyard Wrestler “La Una Fiero,” currently operating under the alias Tommy Lee Bummer, at the China Buffet. The three immediately set to work learning between 1 and 3 chords and writing hit songs.

Bummers Eve have a deep distaste for life in general that is at best thinly veiled by catchy songwriting. This is tough KBD-style punk filtered through a thick cloud of weed smoke and phaser with enough pop sensibility to get even the squares tapping a toe or two. Look out for the debut single," Fly On the Wall b/w Blue” coming June 23rd on Almost Ready Records, with a full-length soon to follow. And don’t miss them on their Midwest and East Coast tour dates in July. It’s gonna be a bummer’s summer, and it’s always a Bummers Eve.
