Pedro Domínguez Castillo (better known as "Moscovita") was one of the most prominent singers of Cuban Sones and Guarachas in Veracruz. At the end of the thirties, after winning a local singing competition, he traveled to Mexico City where he joined the famous group Son Clave de Oro. In the 1940s, the singer founded his own band called Moscovita y sus Guajiros; which would be valid in the medium Sonero until the decade of the eighties.
