Orlando Roberson

Jazz singer, born March 4, 1909 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Recorded with Fats Waller in 1929. His most important association was with Claude Hopkins, with whom he worked at intervals between 1933 and 1940, making a number of recordings. In 1943 he sang with an army group in Phoenix, Arizona, and after leaving the army moved to the West Coast.
