Pumpjack is a Southern Metal / Groove Metal band from Midland, Texas. The band was founded in 1995.
They performed live with more known bands like Pantera and Machine Head. Vocalist Thurber T. Mingus and Guitarist Stroker were also members of the Supergroup Gasoline, which included good friends Dimebag Darrell, and his brother Vince Paul.
Pumpjack released their debut album "The world ain't perdy" in 1996.
