With her crisp voice, Sascha Elisah makes melodic pop songs with pronounced country influences. After having participated in open mic nights in Nashville at just eighteen, she soon found her own sound in the form of delicate, intimate music accompanied by her guitar.

Hearing Sascha Elisah perform, one can unmistakably tell her roots lie in country music. Hence, it doesn’t come as a surprise to hear that in her late teens, Sascha moved to Nashville for a year. After taking songwriting lessons, participating in numerous open mics and watching others perform, she concludes, “before I came to Nashville, I was imitating other people. Over there, my music really developed and became my own”. Back in the Netherlands Sascha proves to be a talented singer-songwriter, making it to the semi-finals of the national competition De Grote Prijs, playing on national radio station 3FM and touring the Netherlands with the biggest travelling festival Popronde. One day Sascha Elisah might return to Nashville, until that day she will continue to move the Dutch audience.
