Sven-Erik Gissbol

Real name: Sven-Eric Gissbol

Swedish dance band singer, born Sven-Erik Carlsson on March 5, 1945 in Halmstad.

He began his career as a bassist in Cool Candys 1968-1977 and in 1981 joined Curt Haagers where he soon became a national musical celebrity. He stayed there until he stopped touring in 2003, when he was replaced by Git Persson. Gissbol has also had his own orchestra, Gissbols.
