Puppet theatre ensemble from Berlin, Germany, lead by Michael Orth, from the 1960s until his death.Famous for many radioplays, and also for their performances in cooperation with German youth authorities.
"Paulchen and Annabella are the most popular characters, the showpieces of the Berlin "Kullerköpfe", who have made a good name for themselves as one of the leading German puppet theaters. More than two hundred television films were made by the "Kullerköpfe" already. As a mobile theater, they play in all major cities in Germany. In almost 3,000 performances, around one million spectators watched the program "Paulchen and Annabella".
This was their first, which was awarded the "Brothers Grimm Prize of the State of Berlin". Excerpts from it were published by German Television, radio stations Radio Bremen, SFB and NDR. The youth authorities know the "Kullerköpfe" very well. Their play became an integral part of youth work."
