Carmen Lúcia is a Brazilian composer.

Her greatest success was obtained through recordings of singer Evaldo Braga in the early 1970s . Her first compositions were released in 1963, by singer Carmen Costa, on the LP "Embaixatriz do samba ", released on Copacabana. These compositions includd the samba-song Incompatibilidade .

Although she has few recorded compositions, her name was marked in Brazilian popular music, especially by the classic "Sorria, Sorria".
