Musician from Texas. Gavin began his career as lead singer of punk band The Next in Austin, Texas. He also played with punk/new wave groups Reversible Cords and The Titans. Gavin moved from Texas to Hollywood, California, where he released a solo album and fronted the band America’s Most Wanted.
Gavin later returned to Texas and based out of San Antonio, has fronted a reunited version of The Next, punk supergroup S.A. Creeper, blues band Ty Gavin’s Pros & Cons and country/honky tonk group Ty Gavin’s Hill Country Band.
