The Snyds
The Snyds (formerly Insex 1979 and The Clats March 1977). Band consited of various members but settled on line up of Steven Tait aka Sid Sawdust Vocals, Bass and Songwriter, Graham Adam aka Al Sation Drums and Eric Andries aka Toby Juggs Guitar as the Insex we played one gig at Toryglen Youth Club Glasgow August 1979. Name changed to The Snyds August 1979, first gig at Doune Castle October 1979. 17 tracks recorded at HBS Argyle Street Glasgow Sunday 20th January 1980. Line up that day Steven Tait aka Sid Sawdust Lead Vocals Bass, Graham Adam aka Al Sation Drums and Martin Cotter aka Sen Sation guesting on Lead Guitar. Songs on the demos all written by Steven Tait with input from Graham Adam Drums and Martin Cotter all Lead and Rhythm Guitars with the exception of Blitzkrieg Bop (The Ramones) and Career Opportunities (The Clash). The Two songs released on Urban Development are The Ark and Never Done A Thing and were released straight from the demo recordings of January 1980. Graham later joined Apes in Control, The Wee Cherubs and The Bachelor Pad. Martin was lead Guitarist in Radio Ghosts (when he helped us out last minute in our hour of need) , The Wee Cherubs and The Bachelor Pad.
