Amir Yussof

Amir Yussof is a singer songwriter who has produced three albums. Of Malay-Swiss parentage, he currently resides in North IsIand , New Zealand.

Having been on stage for the last 30 years, Amir's is taking a haitus from live performances and is concentrating on settling in to a new chapter of life.

Perhaps it will bring new music as a consequence. He is still in demand as a narrator and voice talent, and works out of his home studio for a variety of international clients. He is currently learning the ways of the countryside, absorbing the new energy until the muse retuns.

Amir has recorded three solo albums and one compilation album. Although not the most prolific songwriter, he has a distinctive style and vocal signature that is instantly recognizable. An eclectic collection of various genres, thought inducing lyrics and melancholy, his music is not the type to make you get up and dance, but rather what you might take along on a long drive.
