Brother of Chick Carbo. Hayward “Chuck” Carbo was an American R&B singer (1926-2008). He first came to fame as vocalist in the New Orleans group The Spiders (2). He is best known in funk circles for his classic 1969 single ‘Can I Be Your Squeeze’.
