Michel Bernard
French singer, songwriter, producer, guitarist born in Saint Mihiel (Meuse). Signed in the mid-60s on Phillips by Lee Hallyday (Johnny Hallyday's cousin). Met Alain Bashung with whom he co-wrote several songs. Also wrote for Jacqueline Dulac ("Martin Luther King", "Des gens comme eux" and "Le destin"), Dick Rivers ("Oublie l’âme l’âme", "Je n’arrivais pas à joindre les deux bouts" and "Reparlez-moi encore des roses"), Jocelyne, Romuald (5), Alain Sireguy, César (3), Dov Carmon, Patrice Raison, Richard Cocciante ("Bonne nuit Elisa"), Denis Pepin. He left Phillips for Butterfly Records (4) for which he wrote Eric Berda's "Je veux vivre tango" and songs for the group Monkey Bizness (2) as Mike Deaner.
