Cheb Azzedine (stage name of Abed Benaouda), born July 17, 1975 in Chlef, Algeria and died on February 6, 2019 at Chlef hospital following a stroke, is an Algerian raï singer.He was notably sentenced to 12 months in prison for having released his song “Chouf El Hogra Chouf” against the power in place at the time.
