Dutch rapper born July 13th, 1990 in Vlissingen (Flushing), Zeeland, the Netherlands, of both Curaçaoan and Surinamese descent, performing with lyrics in Dutch.

As a youth D-Double had ambitions to be a professional association football player, before an operation on his knee forced him to focus on his other passion, which was writing music. He became known from his 2012 performance on BNN VARA's 101barz 'The Next MC' competition which he won. During the competition he changed his name from Dubbel R to D-Double.
