The band started under the name Notification, changed to Silver in 2000. Silver were one of the winning bands during Zoom 2000 and were sent on the subsequent Zoom tour in Norway, England and Scotland in the spring of 2001. After White Diary, Emil Nikolaisen left as drummer, and was replaced by Kim Akerholdt, who later left the band and was replaced by Jonas Thire from Amulet.
