Lori Jonathan
American Native American Gospel singer.
Lori started singing at the age of 5. Lori sang with her family, The Jonathan Family, who sang in churches and various events around the New York area.
Lori studied briefly at the Toronto Conservatory of music and at the University of Buffalo. While at the university, Lori studied Opera. Later, she graduated with a BA in Nursing. She started as a solo artist in the 1960's-70's. In 2006, she formed a trio with her sisters Vicki and Crystal fist called "The Jonathan Sisters" but then changed to "The Lori Jonathan Trio". The trio was nominated for the 2023 Absolutely Gospel Female Group of the Year.
