Legendary violinist from Vojvodina (born July 3, 1876 in Subotica, Serbia - died November 9, 1962 in Mol (Mohol), Serbia).

Josip Mlinko, nicknamed Joca Mimika from Mol, led the popular tamburitza ensemble "Lire". His style of playing was hugely influential and imitated by early tamburitza musicians as far away as the United States. He also composed many songs; one of his most famous ones is "Прид прозором процветала ружа" (A Rose Bloomed By The Window).
