Evolving from a band called The Chevels, The Klassmen were a popular St. Louis band in the early and mid-60s. While the Klassmen recorded only 2 singles, they were a respected band regularly playing a multitude of local venues. They are remembered today mostly as the launchpad for the career of their featured singer, Gayle McCormick.
