American Gospel singers Joyce Wead, Joanne Wead, and Maxine Howard.
Joyce and Joanne's brother is Gospel pianist Richard Wead
The Wead Sisters were formed in 1963 on the campus of Northwest College of God in Kirkland, Washington. The girls began singing together in churches when they were three years old. Joyce and Joanne are twins and were born in Julesberg, Colorado. Maxine joined them at Northwest College, forming the Wead Sisters Trio. The group was later centered in Orlando, Florida, pastoring at the Conway Assembly of God Church.
They released at least three albums including "Introducing The Wead Sisters", "With A Song In My Heart", and "O Happy Day".
