The Tim Blys mash out a grunge-y three chord monte of mid 80s punk fracas. Fueled by the corn-ridden landscape of Mattoon, IL, the trio make a punk rock reminiscent of The Replacements, Bad Religion, and Screeching Weasel. Born out of the frustration of chronic overthinking and piles of punk seven inches in paper sleeves, the trio harnesses every raw piece of basement punk rock available. The three provide a twist to this rowdy sundae through their nordic, baritone vocals, and insightful/vitriol lyrics.
