KYLVER (pronounced Kil-ver) are a four piece progressive heavy rock/metal band hailing from Newcastle upon Tyne in the North East of England. Born out of a love of progressive rock as well as a desire to play something a little different from past projects.

KYLVER is made up of bassist James Bowmaker, drummer Barry Mitcherson, guitarist Jonny Scott and organist Neil Elliott. Each member bringing their own individual ideas and musical style to the table to make some heavy instrumental music that is greater than the sum of each of its parts. Their own take on progressive music mixes elements or classic prog rock, doom, stoner, sludge and thrash metal.
