Lakei is a metal band from Bergen, Norway, formed around 2010.

Sonically the band fuses elements of sludge and hardcore with post-metal, though the lyrics have clear punk inpirations with topics like animal rights, anarchism, anti-discrimination issues and more. Initially a studio project, the band recorded a demo in 2011, and were quickly signed. A debut album followed shortly after, and their track Budbringer was listed on Norwegian public broadcasting radio. The band played a string of shows in Norway and Finland the following year, including some larger festivals.
