Real name: Karl Martin Höper

Swedish bassist, born August 14, 1978.

His musical career started in Kalmar, Sweden, playing electric bass with various rock groups. After switching to the upright bass in high school and studying jazz music he ended up at Kungliga Musikhögskolan in Stockholm from 1998 to 2002. There he studied with some of the most prominent bass players in Sweden including Palle Danielsson.

Pretty soon he began his freelance career playing with groups like Fredrik Norén Band, Rigmor Gustafsson, Gustav Lundgren Quartet, Last Days Of April and with electrojazz group KOOP he’s toured Asia, North America and Europe many times.
