Trondheim based band, founded in 2000-and something by Gaute Ludvigsen (vocals), Nils Todal (drums) and Marselius Ratama Andersen (bass). The original trio performed one gig before Werner Wang (guitar) and Einar Grinde (Synthesizer) joined. Other members who have been a part of the band, for a shorter or longer period of time, includes: Sigrun Heian Carlsen (saxophone), Emil Hokstad (percussion), Eirik Zahl (guitar), Brynjar Bergh (guitar).
Each member brought their own musical influences, from punk to space rock and jazz, but Gautomatikk band gained their cult following mainly due to Gaute Ludvigsens unique lyricism and stage presence. Ludvigsen passed away in 2019.
