British singer and broadcaster. After singing with various big bands in the 1950s worked as a brodcaster on ITV's 'Lunchbox' programme and also BBC programmes. He also recorded light jazz / easy listening singing through the 1970s.

Born in Liverpool on 27 May 1927, he died aged 83 on 27 May 2010. He lived in the Wirral, Merseyside, and was married to Joyce Ryan, whom he had wed in 1951 in Liverpool.
