Several years ago, Gater was studying to be a priest but he got sidetracked by electronic music. "I put down the bible and picked up electro," says Gater. Gater's musical style has been influenced by house, electro, freestyle, and pornographic movies. Although he's no longer a man of the cloth, Gater still believes that music is a gift from heaven. "I'm just trying to serve the lord, one beat at a time," says Gater.
